The tvN drama ‘Little Women’ has revealed its position on the teaser poster plagiarism controversy.

The production team of ‘Little Women’ told Maeil Business Star Today on the 5th, “The poster is a teaser poster with the concept of three sisters walking towards a bright place and shadows. In the future, we will pay more attention to it through a thorough preliminary review.”

Earlier on the same day, an online community claimed that the teaser poster for the tvN Saturday drama ‘Little Women’ was similar to the poster of Shiseido, a Japanese cosmetics company.

The teaser poster for ‘Little Women’ shows three sisters Oh In-ju (Kim Go-eun), Oh In-kyung (Nam Ji-hyun), and Oh In-hye (Park Ji-hoo) walking on the blue horizon. Here, behind the three sisters, a huge shadow hangs.

The Shiseido poster also has a similar image of people walking towards somewhere on the blue horizon. Also, the color of both posters is blue, which intensifies the controversy.

‘Little Women’ tells the story of three sisters who are poor but amicably raised once morest the richest and most powerful family in Korea. It first aired on the 3rd.
