Literary meeting in Sainte-Bazeille with actor Dominique Pinon

the essential
On Monday May 30 at 8 p.m., the French actor Dominique Pinon will give a reading of the book Premier Sang by Amélie Nothomb at the village hall of Sainte-Bazeille. A highly anticipated event.

At 8 p.m. on Monday May 30, Dominique Pinon, a great French actor, will take over the Sainte-Bazeille village hall to give body and voice to the novel “First Blood” by Amélie Nothomb. Claude Lelouch’s favorite actor will honor the writer through his text which received the 2021 Renaudot Prize. In this book, the novelist pays tribute to her father by “returning to the life of Patrick, sweet angelic child who became a diplomat to an extraordinary career, a hero in the shadows who had to face death”. This reading, quite unique, is organized as part of the Culturissimo festival which has been honoring, for nine years, “the pleasure of reading”.

Artists at the service of literature

After a two-year hiatus, the festival initiated by Michel-Edouard Leclerc returns from July 26 to 1. It is by relying on a troupe of actors, artists and singers that the festival aims to “discover novels and writers through their works, give the taste of reading, or quite simply offer a time to ‘literary escape’. This event can count on the great figures of the French scene such as Michel Vuillermoz actor of French comedy who will offer no less than five readings, Isabelle Carré, Hippolyte Girardot or Julie Gayet. All the curious and enthusiasts will be able to withdraw invitations to L’Espace Culturel E.Leclerc de Marrmande for free access to the Culturissimo festival.
