Listeriosis: many cheeses sold in all supermarkets in France recalled urgently, here are the products concerned

This Friday, a massive recall of regarding twenty references has been undertaken. But the first reminders had been made in recent days. It is several different cheeses sold by the Société laitière de Vichy between October 1, 2022 and February 4, 2023, everywhere in France. A total of 28 cheeses are concerned.

Which cheeses are affected?

The cheeses were sold in creameries, cheese factories but also in several medium and large supermarkets, in particular Grand Frais, Leclerc, Carrefour, Casino, Auchan, Cora or Super U.

Here are the tips for the symptoms when consumed. If symptoms such as fever, isolated or accompanied by headache, and body aches appear, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Pregnant women, the elderly, and immunocompromised people should pay particular attention to these symptoms. The incubation period for listeriosis can be up to eight weeks.
