Samsung’s custom interface comes with a bunch of new system changes that can be easily noticed on the devices’ lock screen and home screen. One UI 4.0 also brings a number of significant improvements and new features.
OneUI 4.0 Features
The Korean company Samsung has officially introduced the features of One UI 4.0. The new One UI interface provides a unified mobile experience for Galaxy phones with simplified interactions and elegant design.
According to Samsung, a UI 4 beta participant will be able to experience extensive customization capabilities and privacy controls that allow them to design the perfect mobile experience, one that is uniquely tailored to their individual needs and allows them to express their identity.
One UI 4 also offers improved customization options. Themes options allow users to tweak the look and functionality of their devices, giving them tools to configure their home screens, icons, notifications, wallpapers, and more.
In addition, the redesigned and improved widgets provide deep customization, from vision to appearance. Users can also easily access a more powerful and diverse set of emojis in one place, so they can easily navigate their options and enjoy richer communication experiences.
The new One UI 4 also brings enhanced privacy and security features that make it easier for users to understand exactly how their data is being used to customize their settings and deliver a more personalized mobile experience. The indicators alert users to which apps are using the camera and microphone, so they can immediately disable the permissions, especially if they don’t want to give them access to those permissions.
