A NUMBER of NBA stars will compete in the men’s basketball competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics. They are spread across the participating countries, with the United States (US) having the largest number.

The US men’s basketball team at the Paris Olympics is not only made up entirely of NBA players, but is filled with stars from across the American basketball competition.

LeBron James, the leading scorer in NBA history, is on the US team. Next up is the leading 3-pointer in NBA history Stephen Curry, 2023 NBA MVP Joel Embiid, 2024 NBA champion from the Celtics Jayson Tatum, and many more.

Furthermore, Canada is the second country with the most NBA players such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dillon Brooks, and 2023 NBA champion with the Denver Nuggets Jamal Murray.

The French host team is also strengthened by two NBA stars, namely Victor Wembanyama, winner of the 2024 NBA Rookie of The Year title, and four-time NBA Defensive Player of The Year winner Rudy Gobert.

2021, 2022, 2024 NBA MVP and 2023 NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic plays for Serbia. Milwaukee Bucks star and two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo plays for his country, Greece.
