ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi has revised its Green List of 72 countries that can travel without the threat of Kovid. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh were not included in the list. People coming to Abu Dhabi from green countries do not need quarantine. For other countries the quarantine is 10 days.
The PCR taken within 48 hours of the trip should have a negative result. PCR is not mandatory for children under 12 years of age and those who are vaccinated. Green nationals who have been vaccinated should take the PCR test at the Abu Dhabi airport on the ninth day in addition to those at the airport on the sixth day. No quarantine.
Other nationals must arrive in Abu Dhabi and pick up the PCR in 4 or 8 days. Travelers must download the ICA UAE Smart App from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship or enter personal information in the ‘Register Arrival Form’ on the ica.gov.ae website 48 hours prior to the travel date.
Vaccinated and exempt persons should also upload the relevant certificate in the ICA Smart App.
Visitors must download the Alhosen app. If Apple receives PCR test results, it will get a green pass for 7 days. Green passes are mandatory for entry to various locations in Abu Dhabi.
Visitors can get a green pass once in 7 days and those with a residence visa can take a PCR test every 14 days for the same period of time. Children under the age of 12 can get a green pass without a test.
