In 1974, the car mechanic Anton Ebner acquired the trading license for Wolf products from Bavaria and built up the heating and ventilation technology company in Linz. His granddaughter Samantha Stangl has been running the company since 2022, and Martin Kloboucnik has been the new co-managing director since July.
The company currently has 125 employees and has locations in Vienna, Graz and Klagenfurt. The 50th anniversary was celebrated at the headquarters in the south of Linz on Tuesday. In-house cooling and ventilation technology made the high summer temperatures bearable.
Wolf’s references are impressive: large ventilation systems have been installed in the Vienna Belvedere, the State Opera and football stadiums (Rapid Wien or Blau-Weiß-Linz). In the ventilation sector, Wolf has a market share of 25 percent in Austria.
Governor Thomas Stelzer (VP), Linz Mayor Karin Hörzing (SP), VP State Secretary Claudia Plakolm and Klaus Schobesberger, District Office Chairman for the City of Linz at the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, also congratulated the company on its anniversary.
