RIOT Games announced the music band Linkin Park as the musicians who will perform the 2024 League of Legends World Championship anthem entitled Heavy Is The Crown.
Fans can enjoy the Heavy Is The Crown music video on YouTube or other music platforms starting today, Tuesday (24/9) at 22:00 WIB.
Heavy Is The Crown follows Linkin Park’s single entitled The Emptiness Machine, which is their first song in seven years.
The song soared to the top of the charts, with over 80 million streams across multiple platforms, as the band launched a 6-arena tour. Their 8th studio album From Zero will be released on November 15 via Warner Records.

Heavy Is The Crown is a huge collaboration for the band and the global gaming industry.

Billboard called Linkin Park’s return a triumphant moment as they join the ranks of previous Worlds performers, such as Imagine Dragons, Lil Nas X, Zedd, NewJeans and many more.

These songs have been listened to more than 10 billion times on various digital streaming platforms.
Recently, NewJeans’ 2023 Worlds anthem, Gods, broke the record as the biggest debut in anthem history.
The song has reached nearly 270 million global streams across multiple platforms and the music video has been viewed nearly 100 million times on the League of Legends YouTube channel.

The League of Legends World Championship, or Worlds, is the pinnacle of LoL Esports competition with the best teams from nine regions competing to win the world title.
Held after the regular season in a different host region each year, qualifying teams from professional leagues around the world participate in a three-month tournament.
Worlds is the most-watched and followed e-sports tournament, and the 2023 Worlds Finals is the most-watched e-sports event of all time. (Z-1)
