Linafoot: Mazembe in control against Maniema Union

On two headers in the first half, the Ravens flew higher than their opponents (2-0), to regain first place in these Play-offs.

Shortly before the break, Joël Beya on a solitary action found Oscar Kabwit. The ally’s shot is deflected for a corner by the opposing goalkeeper, well in place. Pressing their opponent, the Badiangwenas, also efficient at the back, managed their lead perfectly until the break.

In the second half, there was no clear opportunity for both teams, had it not been for Jephté Kitambala who narrowly came close to reducing the score with a quarter of an hour to go.

Despite the various replacements, the score will no longer change. And it was on this score of 2-0 that the referee ended the game. With this success, Lamine N’Diaye and his troops take first place with 7 points, just ahead of Papy Kimoto and his troops (6 points).
