The major Canadian collectors and hobby store L’Imaginaire will open a new store at Carrefour Laval next October, where it will occupy an area of 18,000 square feet.
Collectors on the North Shore of Montreal will have access next October to a vast space bringing together board games, collectible card games, manga, puzzles, coins, sports cards, comics Americans and collectible figurines.
An investment of $3 million will allow the opening of a sixth store for the family business founded in 1986, and already present in Quebec, Lévis, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. The boutique will have an inventory of more than 70,000 products and will be located near the Old Navy and The Children’s Place. Collectors will also have access to a dedicated space to play in store.
According to Benoît Doyon, the company’s founder, despite the importance of online shopping, customers still come to the store to appreciate the expertise of enthusiasts.
