In Santiago, meanwhile, the cancellation of at least 4 flights that were going to Lima tonight have been confirmed, while the airlines work to reassign passengers who would only make a stopover in Peru.
The accident occurred this Friday, when a plane was moving down the takeoff runway with a truck carrying rescuers, reported the concessionaire of the Lima Airport Partners (LAP) terminal.
As a result of that crash, the Latam company ship, which was going to fly to the southern Andean city of Juliaca, suffered a fire to the right wing and tail, which prevented its takeoff and, subsequently, the evacuation of its passengers and crew.
The images of the accident were immediately shared by social networks, as well as by the passengers following the rescue, and in them, it can be seen how several fire engines are deployed through the airport and one of them gets in the way of the airplane.
