Beaten by Lens (1-2), this Saturday, during the 32nd day of Ligue 1, Lille missed a great opportunity to get closer to the leading teams. Despite this setback, goalkeeper Léo Jardim (27, 14 games in all competitions this season) believes that European qualification is not impossible.

“It’s difficult. It’s an important game for the fans. (…) I don’t think we’ve said goodbye to Europe. We can still achieve our goals. There are six games left, we’re going play direct competitors and we still have our chances. Sometimes we work but we don’t achieve our goals. We give the best of ourselves but it doesn’t always turn out in our favor”, indicated the South American goalkeeper for Canal+.

Eighth, the northern club will have to achieve a faultless to believe it.
