Lilian Marijnissen is expecting her first child. On Instagram the former SP leader shares that she and her partner Joeri Jansen are expecting a baby in October.
“What a luck. So grateful. We are expecting a little one in October. Who is already waving at you!”, writes Marijnissen. In addition to the text, she shares a photo of herself and her boyfriend, as well as a video of an ultrasound in which the child moves his or her hand.

Resigned
Marijnissen (38) resigned as political leader of the Socialist Party last December. Previously, she had been chairman of the SP faction in the House of Representatives since 2017. Marijnissen is the daughter of Jan Marijnissen, who was also leader of the SP for many years.
