Ligier is ready to divert customers from the Citroën Ami

Ligier will launch its first 100% electric license-free car in the spring of 2023. The brand promises a benchmark in terms of autonomy.

In 2023, the Citroën Ami will be attacked from all sides! The Renault group will launch the Mobilize Duo, a vehicle that will replace the Twizy, with an appearance closer to the micro-car. For its part, Ligier has just announced that it will offer its first model without an electric license next spring. His name: Myli.

With this vehicle, Ligier has in its sights a clientele that is increasingly interested in light quadricycles, young people. Or rather parents who prefer to buy this type of machine for their offspring rather than a two-wheeler. The proof, we see more and more Friends in front of high schools! The Myli can thus be driven from the age of 14.

The Ligier should however be distinguished from the Citroën by a less basic positioning, the Friend being satisfied with the regulatory minimum and ignoring comfort equipment. The Myli might do so in the basic version in order to have a great price tag, but the manufacturer is already announcing four trim levels, with therefore increasingly generous equipment. The manufacturer speaks of a connected and customizable vehicle.

Ligier also indicates that there will be three battery sizes. The biggest will allow to have a record autonomy on the market of the electric car without a license, which is limited like the thermal ones to 45 km/h. Currently, the Friend announces 75 km. The more direct competitor of Aixam, named e City Sport, is 90 km away.

The first teaser only shows round optics, which suggest a jovial look. The Myli will be made in France.
