I am confident that this year’s event will be an even greater success and will build on the continued growth, interest, and success of our sport in the United States.”
In the countdown to the race, Totowolff had the unique opportunity to navigate the circuit alongside sponsor representatives in a Mercedes-AMG GTR. Reflecting on this experience, he commented: “The opportunity to drive such an iconic piece of such an iconic track in a high-powered Mercedes-AMG GT R was one I couldn’t refuse. I was fortunate enough to take some of our partners on fast laps of the track, and it was an experience that I, and I hope they too, will not forget.”
