How light can a fully functional mouse be?
Recently, the M2K made by the German peripheral company Zaunkoenig gave a temporarily unsurpassed answer: 23 grams.
For comparison, Apple’s third-generation AirPods weigh 4.28 grams and the charging case weighs 37.91 grams; this means that the M2K is even lighter than the AirPods, and it can almost be said to be “light as nothing”.
The M2K can achieve such a weight for both design and material reasons.
First of all, the shell of this mouse is made of hollow carbon fiber, which is lighter than traditional carbon fiber materials, but the strength is not compromised.
In appearance, the length of the M2K is only 79mm, and the contact area is regarding half of that of a traditional mouse, which leads to the need to use a fingertip grip, and there is no space for the palm to be placed when in use.
In addition to being light, the M2K also uses an Omron D2F01F micro switch and is equipped with a PixArt 3360 sensor, which can also be guaranteed in terms of quality.
It is worth mentioning that this mouse has an 8000Hz tone rate, which ranks at the forefront of current gaming mice, and is on a par with the Razer Viper 8K Hz and Corsair Sabre RGB Pro.
However, the price of M2K is as high as 300 euros (regarding 9304 yuan)!
