The new iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max may be lighter than their predecessors. According to new information revealed this weekend, the titanium alloy used by Apple should make some difference in the user experience.
With that, the iPhone 15 Pro should lose 15 grams compared to its predecessor, making its weight go from 206 grams to regarding 191 grams.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also have a substantial drop, going from the 240 grams of the iPhone 14 Pro Max to around 221 grams.
Sources say that this evolution will be achieved thanks to the new material present in the construction of smartphones.
As much as it may seem like a very small reduction, it will certainly make a difference in daily use. This is because lighter smartphones are easier to use during a game or when the user is watching something on YouTube or Netflix.
Another relevant highlight involves Apple’s engineering work to not only reduce the weight of the devices, but also to do so by increasing battery capacity.
For now, as expected, Apple does not comment on the matter. Anyway, other news expected for the iPhone 15 Pro line include the USB-C port, the A17 Bionic chipset, a new action button, new telephoto camera and fast charging of up to 35W.
Looking forward to the launch of the iPhone 15 line? What did you think of the weight reduction? Tell us your opinion here in the comments field.
