Liga Tênis 10 holds event in Rio with innovative E-Sports initiative

Liga Tênis 10, a movement that emerged in 2015 with the aim of promoting the practice and promoting the growth of tennis in Brazil, is preparing to hold another event in Rio de Janeiro. Arena Liga Tênis 10 will take place on January 28th, at the Rio Tennis Academy, in Laranjeiras. The event takes place from 2pm to 5:45pm and promises a unique experience by integrating traditional sport with the electronic universe.

The afternoon begins with training and friendly tennis games for beginner children aged 5 to 10, who will play with red balls, ideal for those just starting out in the sport. For players aged 7 to 12, who are already in transition, orange and green balls will be used. The idea of Liga Training is to improve plays and prepare young athletes for competitions.

Arena Liga Tênis 10 will have tennis training and games and video game competition

This year, Liga Tênis 10 also presents an innovative initiative that seeks to connect the sporting and electronic worlds for children. After a snack break, the movement will provide socialization among the children present through E-LigaTênis10. Bruna Assemany, CEO of Liga Tênis 10, expresses the importance of this news.

  • I realized that children in tennis are very dependent on their parents to play the sport. They need their initiative for this to happen, unlike football where practice happens in a more fluid way. When you use E-Sports as a form of integration, you can generate autonomy for them to strengthen ties and also encourage them to play more often on the courts. The idea is to help with this socialization so that a friendship is created through this phenomenon that is electronic games. With this in mind, we will provide a space at the event with tennis games on the video game. I’m sure this will bring benefits on the court too – he highlighted.
