Liga MX vs MLS: what time and where to watch the 2024 All-Star Game

The stars of Liga MX and Major League Soccer (MLS) will face off in an exciting clash during the 2024 All-Star Game. This highly anticipated match will be held on July 24 at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio. Both leagues have selected their best players to participate in the third edition of this spectacular match, promising an unforgettable sporting spectacle.

The Liga MX team will be made up of 30 players. Among them are 14 nominees for the 2023-2024 Ballon d’Or, 14 players chosen by André Jardine, the team’s coach and winner of the Ballon d’Or for best coach, and two selected by Mikel Arriola, executive president of Liga BBVA MX. These players represent the best of Mexico’s soccer talent.

From the MLS, the notable players who will be present are Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Federico Bernardeschi and Héctor Herrera. These players promise to give their best on the field to lead their league to victory.

The 2024 All-Star Game will be played on Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. (Mexico City time) at Lower.com Field, home of the Columbus Crew. The match will be streamed through MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, available in more than 100 countries and regions in English, Spanish and French.

Before the big match, the Skills Challenge will take place, a competition that will test the individual skills of the players from both leagues. This event will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:00 p.m. (Mexico City time) in the same stadium. Fans will be able to follow the Skills Challenge streaming on Apple TV, which also broadcasts all MLS and Leagues Cup matches exclusively.

Although the event promises to be spectacular, Liga MX has announced significant absences due to injuries. Juan Manuel Sanabria and Sergio Canales will not be able to participate in the 2024 All-Star Game after suffering injuries during Matchday 4 of the 2024 Apertura. However, other notable players such as Andrés Guardado, André Pierre Gignac, César Huerta, Germán Berterame and Roberto Alvarado will be present to represent Liga MX.
