Shamna got married last October. Shamna Qasim’s husband is Shanid Asif Ali, founder and CEO of JBS Group Company. Shamna got married in Dubai. Shamna’s wedding attire was a white, green and orange silk saree with a cassava thatt and gold jewellery.
A native of Kannur, Shamna is famous for her reality show. She made her film debut in 2004 with the film ‘Manhu Polaru Nagarika’. With the Telugu film ‘Sree Mahalakshmi’, it established its presence in other languages as well. In the film ‘Muniandi Palangal Moontramand’, Tamil also shone as the heroine. Later, Shamna established her place on the silver screen with films in different languages including ‘Ali Bhai’, ‘College Kumaran’, ‘Chattakari’ and ‘Jannal Oram’.
Apart from movies, Shamna Kasim was also very active in stage shows. Shamna’s last release was ‘Visithira’, a Tamil remake of the Malayalam film ‘Joseph’. While RK Suresh was the lead, the film was directed by Padmakumar himself. Many films like ‘Patam Paesum’, ‘Pizas 2’, ‘Ammai’, ‘Dussehra’, ‘Back Door’, ‘Vruttam’ are slated for release and have been announced for Shamna Kasim.
