Randal, who currently experiences homelessness, often finds himself confronted with the elements, sleeping outside in inclement weather. After suffering a stroke a few years back, he now faces challenges with verbal communication.
“Remember I told you I’d bring you some paper so you can tell me what I needed to know,” Dowty said as she sat alongside Randal, demonstrating her commitment to his well-being.
Using a wheelchair and crutches to navigate his surroundings, Randal has traversed the city extensively, wearing out his boots in the process. “You walked the soles right out of those boots, but we got you some new boots didn’t we?” Dowty reassured him, having sourced donations for the ministry’s clothing room, which is currently experiencing high demand for supplies following Hurricane Milton.
Despite these challenges, Lifepointe Ministries warmly welcomes individuals from all walks of life, ensuring no one is turned away.
With the recent establishment of operations at the former Titusville Civic Center, the organization now has a flexible location capable of serving various community needs while fulfilling its mission.
