According to police reports on Tuesday, both bodies each had a gunshot wound. Investigations revealed that a 61-year-old shot his partner, who was one year younger than him, with a handgun at her request and committed suicide.
The dead were discovered on Monday shortly before 2:30 p.m. The investigation was taken over by the Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office, Life/Life Department, and the crime scene group. A suicide note was found.
