Life online or offline

Everything has changed in the second five years of the current century. What was in-person for a long time has now been miniaturized.

Our daily life involves frequently checking an electronic device that is small in size, but has great content. Perhaps it is the era of white light or that of people we do not know, and yet they occupy a place in our lives.

Did you ever want to turn back time? The answer seems obvious. Any change in a custom generates a certain nostalgia for what has already happened. Despite everything, are we all happy with this new lifestyle? Do we like checking the phone all the time? To some yes, to others not so much.

Recent studies predict a morphological change in humans, such as the deviation of the spine due to keeping the head down due to the use of the device. Other studies also show the harmful effects of white light, giving the impression that it is daytime, when in reality it may be nighttime.

In any case, beyond the studies mentioned, a new question that arises is: Can we preserve the essence of things, live in the present, concentrate on our here and now, if at all times we must record what we are doing?

At least I can’t do it. Although it may seem strange to say it, I miss the photographers, the ones who interrupted you for just a moment, while you continued concentrating on your work.

I also miss libraries, radio, and instructional television. Who knows, maybe in a not too distant time, certain customs that fell into disuse will be revived. In the meantime, it’s just waiting and trying to keep concentrating.
