Life cycle analysis (LCA) is a comparative tool allowing an environmental assessment of all human activity.
Carrying out an LCA is done in four steps: defining objectives, carrying out an inventory of inputs and outputs, assessing potential impacts on the environment and making interpretation.
The aim of this white paper is to present this tool in an exhaustive and synthetic manner. It gives you the methodology to apply to carry out an LCA, and indicates its limits. Application examples complete this presentation.
