Hide this dust that I cannot see. Unfortunately, with the Dyson V15, it is impossible to deny the obvious: dust is everywhere in our home. And not just under the rugs or the armchairs in the living room…
The latest addition to Dyson’s collection of stick vacuum cleaners has a green light that will allow you to see, with the naked eye, the dust particles that litter the floor. But not only. Indeed, like what made the success of the MTV series “Room Raiders” (early 2000s), this green light reveals everything. The slightest task or small scratch in the parquet becomes visible.
And if it amuses the children a lot, it is enough to scare the older ones, who really become aware of what is hidden on their floor.
Overpowered
As a result, we are very happy to be able to count on the Dyson V15, which is actually much more than a stick vacuum cleaner. Because unlike its predecessors, the Dyson V15 approaches “classic” vacuum cleaners in terms of power. If we are far from the 2,000 Watts regularly put forward by the manufacturers of “bag” vacuum cleaners, the Dyson is more powerful than the other “bagless” vacuum cleaners with 230 Watts.
Another element that we are not used to seeing on a stick vacuum cleaner, an LCD screen. This will allow you to keep an eye on the battery level of your device, but above all, thanks to the piezo sensor, you will know if the residues you are vacuuming are made up of allergens, pollens, dust mites or normal dust. . Dyson ensures that its fully sealed filtration system captures “99.97% of particles as small as 0.1 microns while diffusing purified air”.
Pleasant to grip – even if a little heavier than older versions – the Dyson V15 is sold with several tips. In addition to the brush with the green light, another brush with detangling technology is provided, as is a mini self-detangling brush which is particularly effective in catching hair and, above all, animal hair. Great luxury, even if, in our opinion, the “basic” brush already does the job very well.
Inevitably, the price of such a device remains high. It is indeed difficult to find your new playmate for less than 600 euros.
