Lieutenant-General Osama Rabie, head of the Suez Canal Authority, said that digging the new Suez Canal was followed by many achievements and an increase in revenues, and there was a great challenge over time to dig the new Suez Canal, within one year, and this is a great achievement, in just one year.

The head of the Suez Canal Authority added, during his interview with the “Masaa DMC” program on the DMC channel, that the new Suez Canal is among the giant projects that the president ordered to build within one year, and it was a very right decision, pointing out that during this year 22,000 passed A ship from the Suez Canal within one year, with revenues of 7 billion dollars, which is the highest revenue from the Suez Canal.

The head of the Suez Canal Authority added that the Suez Canal has marketing expertise to cross any crisis that occurs in the world, pointing out that despite the negatives of the Russian-Ukrainian war, this war had a positive impact on the Suez Canal, as it led to an increase in the number of oil ships that crossed to Europe And this is among the positives that contributed to additional income for Egypt’s economy.

The head of the Suez Canal Authority stressed that the two channels contributed to reducing the time of international trade by 11 hours, stressing that development continues and we are trying to preserve the depths of the canal.
