It was around 7:45 p.m. this Friday when a tragedy unfolded on the quay of the Ourthe, in Liège.
Indeed, in circumstances that the police investigation will still have to determine with precision, a man fell from the 8th floor of a building along the Liège quay.
The man made a vertiginous fall to fall heavily, not on the ground, but on a passing car. If the unfortunate person quickly succumbed to his injuries, the three people who were inside the car were not injured. However, they are very shocked by the events they had just suffered.
The alert was quickly given and the Liège police intervened on the spot. As a result, traffic was interrupted on the right strip of the Quai de l’Ourthe, the time to draw up the usual report.
The Liège public prosecutor’s office was also notified and sent an expert to the scene of the tragedy. If the causes of this defenestration have not yet been established with precision, the hypothesis of a desperate act is, at the time of writing these lines, privileged.
