The country of 10,000 lakes
Minnesota offers year-round incentives for outdoor enthusiasts and culture vultures. Also known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” and the source of the Mississippi River, the US state offers miles of mountain bike trails, more than 70 scenic golf courses, numerous water activities and plenty of art.
Also in Minnesota is the Mall of America – the largest mall in the world. Hundreds of shops and restaurants, a sea life aquarium and its own theme park await visitors on four floors. (red)
