The new operational boss of the brand revealed to Le Parisien its commercial operations, including the reimbursement of a kitchen robot worth 360 euros.
During an interview at ParisianThiago Almeida, the new purchasing and marketing director of Lidl France, announced new commercial operations, intended to attract new customers to the brand’s nearly 1,700 supermarkets.
Its objective: for Lidl to become the number one choice for its customers, hence this unique promotional campaign.
How does the offer work?
“We have decided to fully reimburse the 100,000 Monsieur Cuisine Smart that we will market between December 4 and 11, 2023, upon presentation of the Lidl Plus app,” he indicated to Parisian.
In practice, customers will pay 360 euros to acquire a Monsieur Cuisine Smart. They will then receive, for 12 months, from January 2024, a coupon of 30 euros each month, to spend in a supermarket (with no minimum purchase).
Discount vouchers
Another operation launched by Lidl: from December 6 to 12, 2023, “100 million euros, in the form of 5 euro reduction vouchers” will be distributed, assures the new operational boss. “All our customers who have downloaded Lidl Plus will automatically receive one,” he says. These vouchers can be used from 50 euros of purchase.
This is not the first time that the brand has tried to surprise consumers. In January 2023, Lidl hid 30 beans worth 1,000 euros in its frangipane king cakes. Those who were lucky enough to find a heart-shaped bean with the words “Won !” were able to exchange it for one of 30 vouchers worth 1,000 euros.
