Be careful if you recently bought bread from Lidl. The sign decided to call back a whole series of chopsticks likely to contain pieces of metal.
The model in question is the “rustic cereal baguette”. It weighs 250 g and is sold in stores without a brand name. It was sold between May 3 and Friday.
The whole of France is concerned by the risk of exposure to the pieces of metal which might be in this bread. If customers still have this product in their possession, they are asked to bring it back to the store.
“Due to the risk of injury and adverse effects following the ingestion of this product, as a precaution it is recommended that people who hold products belonging to the described batches not to consume them”, specifies Lidl. All lots with the GTIN reference 4056489495017 are concerned.
A telephone number is made available to consumers. It is 0800.900.343. A refund is in place for affected customers.
