Demonstrating in practice the continuous investment in its people, the management of Lidl Greece proceeds to grant wage increases and of additional benefits in total 7 million euros with the aim of increasing the income of her group.
After the increase of the minimum gross salary to €1,000 which the company proceeded with from December 1, 2023, the €7 million boost includes the establishment of March 1, 2024 of the minimum wage for shop people in €1,050 for singles and €1,200 for married couples. The new salary policy for the stores comes in addition to a more competitive package of remuneration and benefits offered by the company to its more than 6,700 people.
“For another year, we ensure that the income of all our people is strengthened, either with planned annual increases or with this additional support. Together with our team we achieve our goals to offer consumers an easy and fast shopping experience with the best value for money in mind. And we all share our successes together,” said Mr Martin Brandenburger, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lidl Greece.
