According to Puig, Liderman has identified a growth opportunity in this area due, among other reasons, to the great interaction of banking operations. The challenge, he points out, is to propose different security models for each business segment, matching them with budgets. “We will create a small local cybersecurity hub,” she says.
Thus, part of the US$300,000 that the company will allocate in investment this year will be used for the implementation of the SOC (security operations center) service. Resources will also be used to improve the company’s internal efficiencies, in order to maintain its competitive rates despite inflation.

What new market will Liderman enter?
With nearly 23,000 employees in Peru, Chile and Ecuador, Liderman will strengthen its presence in the region and expand to Florida, in the United States, during the first half of the year. It plans to offer physical and technological security services, and implementing the parking facility has not been ruled out.
The company also aims to reinforce its presence in Quito and Santiago de Chile, as well as manage two new parking lots in Lima. “It will depend on the rent. The places we are evaluating are Surco and Lince. “We do not buy the premises: we only rent,” says the executive.
Results
Liderman closed its 2023 local billing with 4% growth, explained by its surveillance business line —which contributes almost 95% of revenues—, complemented by its technology services. Meanwhile, its parking facility line grew 200% compared to 2022 as a result of greater contracts with clients in the health and retail sectors.
Even so, the local result has been conservative compared to what was expected at the beginning of last year (a double-digit increase). Although concern regarding social and economic insecurity was the theme of 2023, this did not materialize in a greater demand for security services, says Puig. “Unlike Ecuador, where the physical surveillance line did grow.”

However, the manager indicates that double-digit growth was recorded in the geolocation service for the custody of valued merchandise and vehicles. For its part, the alarm installation service had no variation.
For 2024, however, it projects a better year in terms of income, also supported by the development of its new facility management line (maintenance and cleaning), which will be implemented in the last quarter of the year, and by cybersecurity.
Operation
- The company expects that the business at the regional level (Peru, Chile and Ecuador) will have experienced double-digit growth in 2023.
- By 2024, Liderman will also operate the event care services business. It is the first company to obtain a license for this area in Peru.
- Due to economic instability, the labor turnover rate at Liderman stands at 40%.
