License procedures due to covid fell from 2,492 a day to 39: Issste

Mexico City. The downward trend in covid-19 infections in the country has led to the reduction of medical license procedures issued by the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (Issste) through the Asissstecovid line, since of 2 thousand 492 attentions that were given on average per day now there are 39.

In a statement, it specified that between January 18 and March 25, the Asissstecovid line answered 19 thousand 756 orientation calls and 41 thousand 393 to request a scheduled appointment in the Respiratory Clinic, destined to process covid-19 medical license, of which 40,237 who met the requirements were scheduled.

In total, the Issste has provided this year 224 thousand 757 medical licenses for covid-19, adding those granted to beneficiaries who came in person to request an appointment and those scheduled by Asissstecovid.

He indicated that even with the decrease in infections, options remain open on the Asissstecovid line to receive preventive recommendations on covid, guidance on suspicion of suffering from this disease and schedule an appointment for medical leave.
