The Gabonese Minister of Business, François Mbongo Rafemo Bourdette opened on Wednesday the work of this 4th version of the convention of the African Community of Mental Property Magistrates (RAMPI) which takes place within the Gabonese capital from June 25 to 27, 2024.
The assembly is organized by the Mental Property Rights and Innovation in Africa (AFRIPI) undertaking in collaboration with the African Mental Property Group (OAPI).
The central level of the Libreville work is the settlement of mental property disputes earlier than the courts of OAPI member international locations and the group of the RAMPI unusual basic meeting.
The assembly brings collectively members of the OAPI Greater Appeals Fee, supreme courts and presidents of business courts, magistrates specializing in mental property, magistrates from three non-OAPI member international locations (Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Madagascar), a member of the Board of Enchantment of the European Union Mental Property Workplace (EUIPO), and representatives of the Gabonese authorities.
The convention within the Gabonese capital will enable contributors, notably authorized professionals, to deepen their data of mental property.
As a reminder, the final RAMPI conferences befell in Abidjan (2021), Dakar (2022), and N’Djamena (2023).
