Liberty Networks announces the implementation of new technology in its service delivery, called ICE6 800G Infinera. The operator, which is part of the State of Florida Transportation Network, owns one of the largest submarine fiber optic networks in Latin America and the Caribbean, which connects more than 40 countries.
This network enhancement allows Liberty Networks, a global technology company, to offer new high-speed 400GbE services to end users throughout Latin America, including Brazil.
The use of Infinera’s ICE6 technology will allow Liberty Networks to use the C+L- band, increasing the capacity of the initial project and seeking to offer a scalable network.
The technology upgrade also aims to provide Latin American consumers, companies and wholesale operators with some features such as greater speed and operating capacity.
