Liam, 19, beaten by 40 people in Namur: “Without the man who came to his rescue, he would certainly have died”

When Liam saw that a guy was texting his girlfriend rudely, he got involved. The exchange between him and the other young man turned into a meeting behind the station, near the cultural center.

According to his mother, who confided in our colleagues from 7sur7, Liam had no intention of going. But leaving his school, he had to take the direction of the station to return home. It was there that he was attacked by regarding forty people who beat him up.

Fortunately, a man intervened and scared the group of brawlers away. “Without this man who came to his rescue, he would certainly have died,” his mother told our colleagues.

“This video, I saw it. She is awful. Seeing your son beaten like this, I wouldn’t wish that on any parent. I almost threw up when I saw her, it was unbearable. I immediately deleted it so as not to see it once more”, also confides his mother.

Fortunately, the 19-year-old is doing well. Nothing broken but scratches on the face and bruises on the back.

Today, Liam and his mom would like to find “their saviour” to thank him and tell him how grateful they are to him.
