Reporter Liu Wanxin / Comprehensive Report
Veteran actor Li Liqun has settled in the mainland in recent years. He recently encountered the closure of Shanghai, and he kept uploading videos on Douyin to record his life in epidemic prevention. A few days ago, he broke the news that a certain community in Shanghai lacked supplies and “the child is already hungry”, which attracted the attention of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. Later, the related videos were suddenly deleted, sparking discussions. He recently uploaded a video once more, calling on the people in Shanghai to “kowtow more and talk less, support the government, and we (can) lift the lockdown sooner.”

Li Liqun continued to update his quarantine diary on Douyin recently. He revealed that he received the vegetables and meat distributed, and said bluntly, “I’d rather get some vegetables, but I’m embarrassed to tell you whether the chicken is delicious or not. I don’t know how long it has been frozen.” After a turn, he also resigned and said, “But we have nothing to be wary of. You can only thank others for what they give you.” Regarding some people’s complaints that the distribution of food was unfair, he believed that the government did not spare no effort to make it “unfair.”

Li Liqun also appealed to the people of Shanghai to “eat what you share (to you)! Kowtow more and talk less! Support the government and we will lift the lockdown as soon as possible. This is the best.” Finally, he hopes that Shanghai has been locked down for so long, and it will be lifted later. After the seal, everyone “don’t go crazy”, they can stabilize their pace and slowly return to their normal pace of life.
