Even if you don’t go for a long time, once you arrive in Macau, from the appearance of the city to the preservation of taste, you can always find it. Bring back many old memories. In fact, there are no deliberate traces. Perhaps it is due to folk customs, and naturally many things worth leaving are kept and not “developed”.
It is strange to say that although Hong Kong people like Macau food so much, there is really no Portuguese food in Hong Kong that has the level of Macau. The Portuguese cuisine in Macau is a combination of “Macao and Portuguese”. The ingredients are not difficult to find and the method is not difficult, but it is only separated by a sea. In Hong Kong, you can’t eat that level of taste, even a decent Ma Jiexiu. Can’t find fried potato chips.
This is also the biggest reason I used to go to Macau. It’s so close, and the boat journey is only an hour, but it immediately arrives in a delightful food paradise, or stay for one night, or return the same day, as you please. Have a few meals, the casino is not in the door, every time is so pleasant.
But this kind of thing seems to be talking about history today. The places that are close at hand have become the ends of the earth, isolation, isolation, isolation. So close, so far apart. So going to Macau seems to be more difficult than going to Australia, so I had to watch TV and sigh at the delicious food.
