LG’s 2023 soundbar supports Dolby Atmos and connects wirelessly to TVs

LG 2023 SC9 soundbar

Before the official start of CES, LG, as usual, released new products that will be brought to the casino in advance. The 2023 SC9 and SE6 soundbars unveiled today both support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound effects, and can use a technology called “Wow Orchestra” to wirelessly connect to TVs through Wi-Fi and “rely on each channel to create Higher, deeper, more powerful extended soundstage”. Once the soundbar is paired with the TV via Wow Orchestra, the user can also make relevant audio settings through the “Home Control Panel” on the TV.

Meanwhile, “Triple Sound Optimization” can further enhance the performance of SC9 and SE6, while “Smart-Up” mixer can turn stereo audio into multi-channel surround sound. In addition, LG also said that the new product can rely on AI to adjust the sound of the speaker according to the room environment, thereby improving the low-frequency range and further separating the front channel to achieve a more balanced and clear listening experience. With the blessing of AI, the new machine can also automatically apply the best settings according to scenes such as movies, games, sports, and music.

In terms of design, both SC9 and SE6 have chosen a minimalist style. Among them, the bracket of SC9 can be directly installed on the 2022 and 2023 LG OLED C series TVs. Although the body of SE6 is very compact, it will still have four built-in passive radiators. LG said that more details of the product will be shared at CES 2023, and interested readers should pay attention to it.
