LG has announced the launch date for the LG UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE 240Hz gaming monitor, announced last month. It will go on sale in the US in early January 2023 for $999. The company also revealed that the flagship monitor LG UltraGear OLED 45GR95QE will also be available in America early next month for $1,699.
These monitors have similar characteristics except for the diagonal, resolution and curvature of the screen. Model 27GR95QE has a flat panel, while 45GR95QE has a concave panel with an 800R radius of curvature. The 27GR95QE monitor has a 27-inch QHD (2560 × 1440 dots) resolution panel, while the 45GR95QE monitor has a 45-inch WQHD (3440 × 1440 dots) resolution screen.
In addition, both models feature anti-reflective coatings, the same maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, 0.03ms GtG response time, 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10 support, and 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Both models also support NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Adaptive-Sync technologies.
Connectivity options on the new LG monitors include two HDMI 2.1 connectors, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, as well as a USB 3.0 hub and a 3.5mm headphone jack that supports the DTS Headphone:X standard. The monitors come with a remote control. Both models are already available for pre-order on LG.com.
