Lima.- LG Electronics (LG) presented at IFA 2022 its innovative MoodUP refrigerator whose door comes with color-changing LED panels. Following the recent release of upgradeable appliances “in constant evolution” LG and the presentation of the very elegant LG Objet collection, this new LG appliance is another example of the company’s ability to respond and create new trends in the field of home appliances.
Equipped with LG’s advanced refrigeration and intelligent technologies for better food freshness and greater convenience, the exclusive MoodUP refrigerator also offers a completely new kitchen experience, allowing users to choose a wide range of vibrant colors for their LED doors and play music through its built-in speaker according to your personal tastes and moods.
With its innovative doors with LED panels, LG’s MoodUP refrigerator introduces unparalleled interior design flexibility and a new way to create a sleek, integrated kitchen. through the app LG ThinQ, users can choose from 22 colors for the top door panel and 19 colors for the bottom panel, giving them the ability to change the look of their refrigerator and kitchen environment. Users can also customize the look of the panels and refresh the environment by applying various evocative color themes, such as Season, Place, Mood and Pop. Using the tones and hues of nature, Season represents different times of the year, while Mood provokes a feeling of well-being through the use of soft and relaxing colors.
In addition to its impressive and changing colors, LG’s new refrigerator delivers great sound through a built-in Bluetooth speaker that can be easily connected to a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Users can match their mood – or the current color or theme of the refrigerator – with songs from their favorite streaming music apps, or from the ThinQ app’s Music Collection playlist. Additionally, when the speaker is playing audio, MoodUP’s LED panels can change colors in sync with the music, adding a sense of liveliness and fun to the time users spend in the kitchen.
LG’s revolutionary new refrigerator also boasts easy-to-use features like convenient, colorful notifications. When the refrigerator door sensor detects that the refrigerator compartment has been left open for too long, the panel of the door that has been left open flashes repeatedly, letting users know that the door needs to be closed and helping to avoid the loss of cold air and unnecessary energy consumption. And when MoodUP’s motion sensors detect someone approaching, both panels flash in welcome. The fridge even makes things easier at night, as its freezer door glows brighter to help midnight snackers find and open the door.
With the LED door panels off, the MoodUP refrigerator offers a combination of Lux Gray and Lux White for a more traditional look in the kitchen. The elegant and timeless finish harmonizes with any decoration and evokes the natural and subtle contrast of different colored stones.
LG’s new refrigerator model also applies the company’s own artificial intelligence chip for smart home appliances. Integrating advanced AI, the module enables MoodUP to enhance and extend the user experience with features such as enhanced voice recognition, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
«At LG, we have always found new and exciting ways to advance the customer experience, and we are proud to do so once more with the all-new MoodUP Refrigerator,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, President of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “Wearing the colormusic and convenience to the kitchen, and incorporating LG’s cutting-edge technologies and innovative design features, this unique refrigerator demonstrates our ongoing commitment to better living at home.”
