The screen manufacturer LG Display will launch a new OLED panel for mid-size gaming monitors The company plans to meet growing demand for this type of technology in high-end computer displays.
The South Korean manufacturer is preparing for the end of the year a new flat screen with OLED technology, the size of which will be 1.5 million euros. between 20 and 30 incheswhich will place it in a family of intermediate-sized products.
These panels, a company spokesperson confirmed to the Korea Herald, will be for both LG’s own production and its monitor and mobile device manufacturing customers.
So far, the company has developed OLED panels for displays. for larger screens, such as TVs over 40 inches., or even smallerfor mobile phones. With this new panel, it will make the jump to medium-sized screens.
LG currently offers a range of “gaming” monitors which it markets under the name Brand UltraGearon which appears a model with a 48-inch OLED panel.
