LG presented at the IFA fair in Berlin (Germany) its innovations in household appliances and screens for entertainment, where a new refrigerator with customizable panels using colored LED lights and the new TV stand out OLED Flex that can be curved.

LG’s solutions for improving air quality are grouped under the PuriCare brand, which has been enriched with a new model of purifier whose customizable design resembles a table. The PuriCare Objet Collection aerodynamic furniture projects air in all directions (360 degrees).

At IFA, the company highlighted its compact size, color options (pink, yellow, and gray), and top shape (round or more elongated). It also incorporates a wireless charger and an ambient light mode.

In the same product category, LG has launched the new MoodUP refrigerator with LED panel doors, which allow this appliance to be personalized by choosing one of the 22 colors supported by the upper panel and the 19 colors supported by the lower panel.


MoodUP also incorporates a Bluetooth speaker that can be connected to a smartphone, tablet or laptop to stream music from streaming platforms or a playlist on the ThinQ app.

This refrigerator also includes On-Device AI, a chip designed by LG for home appliances that incorporates advanced artificial intelligence to expand the user experience through features such as enhanced voice recognition and WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth.

DISPLAYS

UltraGear, LG’s gaming brand, took advantage of IFA to unveil its first curved OLED screen. The ULtraGear OLED display (45GR95QE) features a 45-inch size, 240Hz refresh rate, and UltraWide 21:9 aspect ratio.

Along with this display, LG also unveiled UltraFine Display Ergo AI, a 31.5-inch 4K IPS display with automatic position adjustment designed to maintain ergonomics throughout the day. To do this, it analyzes the posture of the user and slightly modifies the position with variations in height (from zero to 16 mm) and inclination (from -20° to +20°).

Among high-end TVs, the IFA hosted the presentation of the LG OLED evo Gallery Edition TV (97G2), with a diagonal of 97 inches, which the company says makes it the “largest OLED TV in the world. “.

LG OLED Flex also debuted at the German show. It’s a flexible 42-inch OLED screen TV, which starts from a flat form factor and supports up to twenty different levels of curvature, up to a maximum of 900R.

The TV can also be tilted 10 degrees up and 5 degrees down, and has an adjustable stand, with a height adjustment range of 140 millimeters, for better ergonomics.
