Judging by the photo, the design of the novelty will vaguely resemble Toyota bZ4Xwhich uses the same platform. Lexus hopes that its first all-electric crossover will be able to compete with established cars like the Tesla Model Y and Skoda Enyaq.

The images do not reveal any details regarding the electric car’s interior. Most likely, the company is holding back the details for upcoming teasers, which should fuel interest in the car until its launch. The interior of the electric car was partially revealed in a video in which the Lexus CEO gave a personal test drive of the car.

The Lexus RX 450e will have a range of around 534 km. Up to a speed of 100 km / h, the car can accelerate in 7.7 seconds. The RZ 450e is expected to get the same 71.4 kWh battery as the Toyota bZ4X. The power plant will consist of two electric motors.

At present, there are no details regarding the cost of the car, but we are definitely talking regarding a premium electric car, which a priori cannot be affordable.
