Hamilton Vows to Bounce Back After Disappointing Qatar Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton endured a challenging Qatar Grand Prix, ultimately finishing outside the points for the first time this season. The seven-time World Champion faced difficulties from the outset, grappling with handling issues that hampered his performance.

“With the under balancing, you didn’t get the wing set properly. It’s happened many times. Just basically not having enough front wing in the car. And the car just wouldn’t turn,” he explained afterward, highlighting the importance of proper wing settings for achieving optimal car balance.

“So, it was understeering massively for a long period of time. And I think that’s honestly, for me, felt like that’s what led to the tyre failure, but maybe it was, I didn’t see any debris. It happened just at the pit lane entry…”

Despite finishing 12th, a far cry from his typical podium finishes, Hamilton remained resolute, determined to regroup for the final race of the season.

“I’m still standing, it’s not how you fall, it’s how you get back up, so I’ll get back up tomorrow and give it another shot next week,” he said, displaying his trademark resilience and competitive spirit.

“I think what’s important is that we turn up and give it our best shot.”
