Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) unveiled a special helmet in collaboration with world-famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami on Saturday of the F1 Japan GP.

Lewis Hamilton has announced a limited collection in collaboration with Takashi Murakami in his own brand “+44”, and visited Atria prior to the F1 Japan GP.

“When I launched +44, I wanted to create a bold, brave, transformative collection that makes people feel like they are the most authentic version of themselves,” Lewis Hamilton told Highsnobiety.

“I don’t think there is anyone better suited than Murakami to help me achieve this. Known for its unique and recognizable design.”

The special helmet unveiled on Saturday features Takashi Murakami’s trademark colorful flowers around a smiling emoji character.
