English Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), seven times world champion in Formula 1will come out first this Sunday in the Hungarian Grand Prixwhich takes place on the Hungaroring track, the circuit on the outskirts of Budapest.

Hamilton, 38, raised his own all-time record for 104 ‘poles’ of his career in F1 by dominating qualifying, in whose third and decisive round (Q3) he covered the 4,381 meters of the Hungarian track -with the mandatory soft compound tire on this occasion- in one minute, 16 seconds and 609 thousandths, only three less than the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red BUll)outstanding leader of the World Cup.

From the second the two pilots of McLarenEnglish Landon Norriswho finished third in the main timed session, and the Australian Oscar Piastri.

The Asturian double world champion, back on the track where -almost twenty years ago- he celebrated the first of his 32 victories, will start eighth; while ‘Czech’ -second in the World Cup, with a 19-point advantage over the previous one- will do so from ninth place.
