Leverkusen set a European record – the record can be broken in the second leg of the E-semi-final
Bayer Leverkusen remained unbeaten in its 48th match of the season, what with it: it won 5-1 as a guest of Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday – thus setting Benfica’s European record.
The record decision may take place on Thursday at home in the semifinals of the Europa League in the second leg once morest AS Roma. In the first match, Xabi Alonso’s team won 2-0.

Benfica held the European unbeaten record with 48 matches between December 1963 and February 1965.
The meeting in the 32nd round of the Bundesliga had no other stakes for Bayer, as they had secured their league title weeks ago.
