On behalf of the Chinese Party, State and people, I sincerely thank you for sending your condolences over the death of Comrade Jiang Zemin, and convey to you the thanks of Comrade Jiang Zemin’s family. People.
Comrade Jiang Zemin, together with Vietnamese leaders, promoted the normalization of China-Vietnam relations, establishing the 16-word motto “friendly neighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, towards the future”, has a profound influence on the development of Sino-Vietnamese relations.
