Let’s do the festival! Charlie didn’t let Freddie’s singing pass by either

The scratchy-voiced singer saw this task as one of the most difficult professional challenges of his life. “This song means a lot to me, and so does Charlie. He didn’t deny that, while singing the song, a sea of ​​childhood memories surfaced in him, which almost ruined the performance. “The music reminded me of my childhood, the old apartment I grew up in jumped in, and at one point I had to command my memories to stop so I might sing the song. There was a moment in the semi-final when I thought of my grandmother, but there was a transition in the choreography during which I was able to organize my thoughts.” The singer received his real prize only following that, because Charlie also appeared in the studio and congratulated him on the victory. “What I really liked was that it wasn’t oversung, even though it’s a difficult note. Sometimes I even heard my own voice,” Charlie praised his young colleague.
